Welcome to His Glorious Praise Outreach Ministry

Call To Services – Pastor Gwendolyn F. Biggers could not help but see the needs of the surrounding communities upon her arrival to Fort Bragg in 2005. So, without a blink of an eye she immediately started looking for a place to start. In the process she was called to minister to those in need not only in Fayetteville area but also in Goldsboro and the rural areas of South Carolina. Then one day she was asked to visit Smithfield.

The Starting Point – Pastor Biggers received Pastoral License from her home church, New Destiny Church of Christ in Smithfield, NC. There under the leadership of Bishop Thurman R. Lofton the mission of “Winning souls for the Kingdom of God, while Keeping Calvary Clear” became a reality..

The Vision Become Clear – The will of God be in total control; Reaching the Nation, one Soul at a time. The implementation of the Mission and Vision of His Glorious Praise Outreach Ministry was activated January 2008.

First Service Held - May 2008 His Glorious Praise Outreach Ministry held its first service at the Holiday Inn Bordeaux in Fayetteville North Carolina with Bishop Thurman R, Lofton Officiating.

New Beginning – In September 2009 His Glorious Praise Outreach Ministry relocated to its current location, 1076 Lillington Hwy, Spring Lake, North Carolina 28307 in the Cedar Wood Shopping Center. With the Church Mission in mind Pastor Biggers went to work and started transforming an old office building into a Place of Worship. This mission took several weeks and couldn’t have been completed without the help of her coworker and friends.

Church Dedication Service – On 29 November, 2009 His Glorious Praise Outreach Ministry held its Building Dedication with Pastor Betty Lofton, New Destiny Church Of Christ of Smithfield, NC Officiating. Missionary Rose Mary Babers was Mistress of Ceremony for this event. Guests were from near and far, respectively, featuring what has to be the two best male choirs in North Carolina. Savannah Baptist Church, Fayetteville NC, and New Life Bible Church, Fayetteville NC.

To our New Destiny Church Of Christ church family, words of gratitude can not express the agape love shown. We love and appreciate all of you that were an instructmental part of this Church Dedication Ceremony.
